If the ordered part is painted in the customer's chosen or offered color code only after the order has been received, it is considered a custom-made product. For such individually manufactured and non-prefabricated goods, there is no statutory right of withdrawal according to § 312g para. 2 no. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB).

Especially with vehicles that have already been used or are older, the existing original paintwork can change over time due to UV radiation, weathering and maintenance.

A newly painted component may therefore differ slightly in appearance from the existing vehicle paint.

Such minor differences, which are technically unavoidable, do not constitute a quality defect.

Note regarding transport:

Painted surfaces are delicate. Despite careful packaging, minimal visual marks due to transport or handling cannot be completely ruled out. These do not constitute a defect and do not affect fit or function.

Naturally, your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
